Hazel Park Creative Arts
Welcome to Hazel Park Creative Arts website!
The mission of Hazel Park Creative Arts is to promote, enhance and maintain an enthusiastic interest in the arts in the Hazel Park Michigan community through fundraising and assistance as necessary.
Hazel Park Creative Arts was incorporated as a non-profit corporation in the state of Michigan in October of 2014, and granted 501(c)(3) charitable organization status in December of 2014, retroactive to our incorporation date. This designation means that donations, monetary or otherwise, to Hazel Park Creative arts are tax deductible.
Our focus is to support and maintain the arts in the K-12 school age group, primarily through the Hazel Park School District. Since our beginning we've supported an after school program at United Oaks, piano tuning in the high school, percussion sticks and mallots for the Junior High band, and of course the replacement of the pottery kiln and lighting control console at Hazel Park High School.
Our board members are not new to giving of themselves for others! Our founding board members have been involved with many community organizations including the Hazel Park School PTA, Lion's club, and the Hazel Park band boosters.
